Homeschool Day at BPRC – December 10, 09:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Do you love animals? Discover the many exciting careers that involve working with wildlife, pets, and farm animals! In this homeschool program, students will explore a variety of animal-related professions—such as veterinarians, zookeepers, trainers, and conservationists—while learning about the skills and education needed for each role.
Through interactive activities and real-world examples, participants will gain insight into how people care for and protect animals every day. Perfect for students who are curious about turning their passion for animals into a future career! New careers added! Attend our most popular homeschool event!
In partnership with Sensory Days Dallas, a Quiet Area with sensory-friendly activities will be available at all family events.
All ticket sales directly support the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center. As a small, self-sustaining nonprofit, events like this - and the generosity of friends like you - help us care for our raptors, protect the Blackland Prairie, and offer educational programs for families. Because this is an outdoor experience, the event may be postponed if we’re experiencing heavy rain or lightning at the scheduled time.
