Meet our Featured Speaker: Alexandra Harsacky
Alexandra Harsacky has been involved with the Children’s Law Center throughout her entire life. As a child, Alex was one of CLC’s early clients when founder, Kim Tandy, advocated for her and her sister during their parents' divorce as a guardian ad litem, representing solely the girls' interests in this high-conflict custody case. She used this formative experience to start a lifetime of helping others, as a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club in South Texas growing up; as an instructor and later director of a college volunteer program teaching leadership skills to middle school students; and today as the Vice President of CLC’s Board of Directors. Alex offers a truly unique perspective regarding CLC and the positive lifetime impact this organization can have in its mission of championing the rights of children for 38 years so they can grow up in safe, healthy ways. Alex lived in Northern Kentucky as a child and moved back to the area over a decade ago, calling Covington home today. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Texas, and today she is a Certified Public Accountant with a focus on helping non-profit organizations use their limited resources to best serve the community. She is honored to be able to share her story about CLC's incredible impact this year at Boots, Bourbon, and Biscuits.
Meet our Emcee: Ashleigh Gainey
Ashleigh (DuBois) Gainey is a Cincinnati native whose "unconventionally intentional" journey has led her to build strong relationships across Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, and the world (all the way to Guangzhou, China!). Her long-time investment in our region spans roles at the Northern Kentucky Chamber and Skanska USA, and now as Chief Growth Officer for Gainey Holdings, a shared venture with her husband. Ashleigh shares joy everywhere she goes through words, hugs, and laughter. We're thrilled she's bringing that same energy to Boots, Bourbon & Biscuits this year.
