"The 2025 Boulder Library Gala: Remarkable Night Creatures" is Boulder's signature library fundraising event for 2025. On Sept. 18, it will engage readers, community leaders and library supporters for an entertaining evening featuring a best-selling author, food, wine and great company to benefit an educational pillar of our community: The Boulder Public Library.

The Boulder Library Foundation welcomes Boulder’s philanthropic and business community to engage in one of Boulder’s most anticipated fundraising events: Our Boulder Library Gala. The gala will feature festive food and drink in the Boulder Main Library, a program featuring New York Times Best-Selling author Shelby Van Pelt (Remarkably Bright Creatures) and the stories of lives forever changed by library programming. There will be a request from the podium that attendees make a generous donation.
Once again this year, the 2025 Boulder Library Gala will take over both floors of the Boulder Main Library’s southern half. Last year’s sold-out 50 Year Gala attracted 400 library enthusiasts and netted more than $138,000, which directly supported Boulder Public Library’s mission to improve lives and build a stronger community. This year’s goals include:

The 2025 Boulder Library Gala is possible with the generous support of our philanthropic and business communities.
