Art & Farm Life with Boundless Farmstead

About This Event

Join Us for an Evening of Art & Farm Life with
Boundless Farmstead and Artist Rachel Binah!

Saturday, August 8th | 5:30 - 8:00 PM

Spend an unforgettable summer evening on Boundless Farmstead, in collaboration with the Open Arts Center, where local food, art, music, and community come together in a beautiful rural setting. Stroll through the fields with a refreshing handcrafted cocktail in hand, enjoy a behind-the-scenes guided farm tour with farmers David & Megan Kellner-Rode, and discover the stories of the people growing food in our region.

Throughout the evening, relax to live music while browsing a featured collection for sale from local artist, Rachel Binah, celebrating the creativity that thrives alongside our local agricultural community. Rachel's artwork is also being featured at the Open Arts Center Gallery, opening August 7th and running throughout the month of August and September, so be sure to check her out there as well! Bid on a unique and sought after piece in a silent art auction, with proceeds supporting programs that strengthen local farms and improve access to fresh, nutritious food for neighbors across Central Oregon.

Thoughtfully prepared seasonal bites showcasing locally grown and prepared ingredients, will be served as you mingle with fellow community members. Whether you're passionate about local food, inspired by the arts, or simply looking for a memorable evening in a stunning farm setting, this one-of-a-kind event offers a meaningful way to connect with the people and places that make our region so special.

Raise a glass, explore the farm, support local art and music, sustainability, and help cultivate a stronger, more resilient local food system.

Each guest will enjoy:

  • Two farm-inspired cocktails/mocktails
  • Locally sourced hors d'oeuvres and grazing table
  • Live music by Ray Davis
  • Access to private art showing and art silent auction

Tickets are limited, reserve your spot today!

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

Rachel Binah has lived an extraordinary life of artist, environmental activist, mentor, and philanthropist.

Rachel's pieces combine paper with unexpected materials such as reclaimed plastics, window screening, Tyvek, roofing tiles, fabric, and paint. Each work is hand-stitched using intentionally rustic techniques with twine, ribbon, or wire, extending beyond traditional rectangular forms to create organic, sculptural compositions. Through these unconventional materials and methods,Rachel invites viewers to see possibility and renewal in what others might overlook, and generous supporter whose donation helped make the Open Arts Center possible.

Her latest exhibition is both a celebration of Rachel's artistic achievements and an acknowledgment of the lasting impact she has made on the Bend community and beyond.
