The Legacy Tree at the Amato Theater for the Performing Arts

About This Event

The Legacy Tree at the Amato Theater for the Performing Arts

As part of our Theater Improvement Project, we’re inviting our community to become a lasting part of the Amato Theater for the Performing Arts through our Legacy Tree.

Painted by our Director of Technical Theater, Sharron April, the Legacy Tree features a stand of beautiful birch trees that frame the stage, complete with a stone wall and woodland critters. This artwork reflects the creativity, care, and sense of belonging that the theater brings to our students and community. Supporters who participate in the Legacy Tree fundraiser will be permanently recognized as part of this special space.

Your contribution through the Legacy Tree directly supports the phased improvements to our theater, including infrastructure updates, energy efficiency upgrades, and modernization of technical systems—helping ensure this space remains safe, welcoming, and inspiring for the next generation of performers and audiences.

Legacy Tree Giving Levels

Supporters can choose from the following recognition opportunities:

  • Small (Leaf) Plaque – $250
A small plaque placed as a leaf on the tree

  • Medium Plaque – $500

  • Large Plaque – $1,000

  • Woodland Critter – $2,500 (limited availability – only 4 remaining)

Each plaque will be personalized with your chosen name or message.
Character limits and sizing details will be provided during checkout.

Our Goal

Our goal is to raise $50,000 through the Legacy Tree to directly support the Theater Improvement Project. Every plaque purchased helps move this project forward and leaves a visible reminder of the community that made it possible. The total budget for the project just under $1 million, and contributions like yours bring us closer to ensuring the Amato Center is ready for the next 50 years.

Additional Ways to Support

If a plaque is not the right fit, supporters are also welcome to make a direct donation to the Theater Improvement Project. Every gift, at any level, helps ensure the Amato Theater continues to serve students and the community for decades to come.
