The Boston Public Schools All-Star Marching Band brings together 75 student musicians from ten BPS high schools to perform as one unified ensemble representing Boston Public Schools. Students rehearse during the school day within their school band programs and gather monthly on Saturdays for full ensemble rehearsals, culminating in major performances across Boston and New England. As the official ambassador ensemble for BPS, the band highlights the discipline, musicianship, and leadership developed through strong arts education.

The program also serves as a career-connected learning opportunity, with students compensated for rehearsals and performances while gaining experience in professional performance settings and developing skills like teamwork, responsibility, and artistic excellence.

Funds raised will support:

  • Marching band uniforms

  • Student compensation for rehearsals and performances

  • Sheet music and rehearsal supplies

  • Transportation to performances

  • Meals during long rehearsal days

  • Other essential program resources
