The family of Braden Zanski & Hailey Zanski-Quinn established the Braden & Hailey Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor the life and legacy of their son and daughter who passed away suddenly on January 14. 2024.

Braden was an 11th grader at Glenelg High School. He was an amazing brother, son, grandson, and friend. Braden participated in the ARL automotive program through Howard County Public Schools. Since he was little, Braden loved learning how to take things apart and put them back together. He always had interest in automotives, whether they were cars, trucks, or trailers. His other hobbies were clearing, organizing, and hanging out with his friends. He loved sushi and ice cream sandwiches. Above all else, Braden was devoted to his family, including both his immediate and large extended family. Braden had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He will be dearly missed. The Braden Zanski Memorial Scholarship will support Howard County students in the ARL automotive program who demonstrate a passion and dedication in the program.

Hailey was a 10th grade student at Glenelg High School. She was an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. Hailey was a peer tutor, helping students with disabilities during the school day. She loved art, drawing, theater, and spending time with friends. She also loved Chipotle and chocolate. Hailey expressed interest in going to school to become an art therapist. She participated in the theater program at Glenelg and was looking forward to being in her first play. Hailey loved helping others and was a friend to anyone who needed one. She will be dearly missed. The Hailey Zanski-Quinn Memorial Scholarship will support Howard County high school students who have demonstrated a passion for embracing acceptance and helping others.
