About BAPAC San Diego

The San Diego Chapter of the Black American Political Association of California (BAPAC SD) Foundation belongs to a visionary movement that focuses on ensuring the Black community in San Diego County is effectively represented and well-positioned to be a major economic, social, and political force. Our goal is to provide a forum for members to identify issues and find solutions related to jobs, education, health, and welfare. BAPAC SD uses civic engagement to address important topics in San Diego. Black communities deserve and demand thoughtful, visionary policies and practices that empower us in every aspect of our lives. Our monthly meetings feature topical issues that affect our lives such as homelessness in the Black community, the status of Black mental health in San Diego, and human sex trafficking from a Black perspective. We encourage our community members to run for political office and to serve on boards and commissions. Learn more at www.bapacsd.org!
