Crafty for a Cause: Break Bread’s First-Ever Fundraiser
Break Bread is built on simple acts of care: a warm meal, a seat at the table, a friendly face. This November, we’re celebrating 9 years of serving our neighbors with a relaxed, come-as-you-are art party.
What to Expect
Drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to decorate the dishes and serving vessels we use at our weekly community meals. We provide all the supplies and light refreshments. You provide the talent. Low on artistic ability? No worries! Our volunteers will be on hand to guide you, along with plenty of ideas to get the creative juices flowing. Every guest will also be entered in a free drawing for gift cards to local favorites.
Why It Matters
Every piece you create will be used at our community table, week after week, reminding our neighbors how cared for they are. Every dollar raised helps us keep serving free, nourishing meals to everyone who walks through our doors.
Everyone Is Welcome
Just like our community meals, this event is open to everyone. The suggested donation is $45 per person, but no one will be turned away. Choose the “Pull Up a Chair” option to join us at no cost. At Break Bread, community is built by many hands, each giving in their own way.
