Best Practices in Instruction and Inclusion for Students with Down Syndrome

Event Overview:
Join us for the 2025 Championing SUCCESS in Education, a comprehensive workshop designed to enhance teachers' expertise in educating students with Down syndrome. This event will cover:

  • Medical challenges and their impacts on early development
  • The importance of classroom inclusion and its effects on students' overall lives
  • Strategies for managing disruptive behavior and understanding its implications
  • Recognizing and nurturing the potential in students with Down syndrome
  • Effective classroom tools and an overview of programs offered by The FOUNDATION

Our goal is to ensure that educators are well-supported and informed by the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida, providing valuable resources, education, and support for teaching students with Down syndrome.

Highlights:

  • FREE Breakfast and Lunch!
  • FREE Make and Take Charts – Choose 2!
  • FREE Childcare (must sign up in advance)!
  • EARN 3 CEU Points!

Registration Fee:
$10, which includes morning refreshments and lunch. Scholarships are available upon request. Please contact Fay.Warfle@dsfflorida.org.
