Bridgeport Rescue Mission Spring Luncheon
Join us for a special afternoon by the water in support of Bridgeport Rescue Mission and the four essential ways we serve our community: HOUSING for families experiencing homelessness, HUNGER relief through meals and groceries, HEALTH care and recovery programs, and HELP with everyday essentials.
Featuring Keynote Speaker: Liz Murray. Liz's powerful story of resilience and transformation will inspire and remind us why this mission matters. She grew up in the Bronx with parents who struggled with drug addiction. Despite these challenges, she managed to turn her life around and eventually graduated from Harvard University. Her journey from homelessness to Harvard was even made into a Lifetime movie, "Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story".
Enjoy mission moments, raffle prizes, and exclusive travel opportunities - all to benefit those seeking stability, dignity, and a second chance. Be the Light of Hope. Help us bring them to safe harbor.
