Open House at the Brooklyn Book Bodega Book Hub!

Join Brooklyn Book Bodega's Open House on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, between 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. for a fun-filled evening of connection! 

• Meet Brooklyn Book Bodega leadership and team,

• Learn about Brooklyn Book Bodega's theory of change, why book access is so important, and how you can get involved,

• Optional: Donate books or make a financial donation. Bring your giftable/like-new books for ages 0-18 to the Open House.

You will find us on the 6th floor where you can see our space, meet the team, and learn about our work to increase literacy through book access.

This is an informational event. 

This is not a book giveaway, but you can donate up to 50 books to Brooklyn Book Bodega. Just bring them with you and make sure that they meet our criteria: like-new or gently used that a kid in 2026 wants to read. Find more information about the types of books that we accept here.

Light refreshments will be served. All ages are welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
