Build and Boil 2026

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get to peelin'! Rebuilding Together New Orleans’ Build and Boil presented by Entergy is back and better than ever! This one-of-a-kind event brings together community, culture, and a whole lot of crawfish for a day that’s equal parts impact and celebration.

Start the day with purpose as volunteers and supporters come together to build safer, healthier homes for New Orleans neighbors in need. Then, keep the good vibes going as we transition into a classic Louisiana-style crawfish boil, complete with all the fixings, cold drinks, and music to keep you dancing. Boil teams will compete against each other for the Boil of the Block Award, and serve more than 1,000 pounds of crawfish!

Emceed by fan favorite drag queen Katrina Waters, this is a family friendly event with a bounce house, Plum Street Snoballs, crawfish racing games, and so much fun for everyone!

Come for the cause. Stay for the crawfish. Leave knowing you helped rebuild New Orleans, one home, and one crawfish, at a time.

Sponsor packages are available and include the option to bring volunteers in the morning for the build, and entry into the boil competition in the afternoon. Individual tickets include the afternoon crawfish boil only, with all-you-can-eat crawfish and two drinks, including beer. Sponsors should complete their team registration by April 10th to take full advantage of all publicity opportunites for the event.
