Donate

About This Event

Move beyond using a template and write an obituary that creates a meaningful, honest and truly reflective story of a life lived. A well-written obituary is an act of kindness and a lasting gift for yourself and your loved ones.

Join us for class in person in the Upper Level Meeting Room and enjoy refreshments while you learn in community with other writers. Also available via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent out to all registrants the day before the event.

Your instructor, Mary McGreevy, will join us from Minnesota, where her childhood hobby of reading obituaries blossomed into the best chapter of her life. Through her social media account, Tips from Dead People, (IG, TikTok, Substack), Mary uses storytelling to remind people what matters most (and least) in this trip around the sun.

The program will include an additional 30 minutes after instruction time to work on your writing.

Also available via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent out to all registered attendees the day before the event.

Registration is FREE.
