Protecting the Promise of the SFC Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act

The Gala of Valor is more than a tribute-it is a call to action. Hosted by BurnPits360, this Texas-based event honors the sacrifice and service of our nation's Veterans while raising critical support to protect the promise of the PACT Act. Our mission is to unite advocates, leaders, and communities in ensuring that Veterans exposed to toxic hazards receive the care, justice, and recognition they deserve. Through this gala, we aim to sistain life-saving programs, amplify Veteran voices, and forge lasting partnerships that carry forward the legacy of those who stood in harms way for our freedom.

ABOUT BURNPITS360

BurnPits360 aims to enure that no other service member or Veteran suffers his or her fate and that we make the invisible visible. Becoming invisible is one of the greatest disservices to those who served. Over the years, Rosie and Le Roy established an independednt Veterans exposure registry where thousands of war heroes and their families reported experiencing the same suffering and denial of health care and benefits. Le Roy and Rosie collectively bring over 40 years of experience working with Veterans, active duty service members, and their families. Rosie spent 23 years with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Together, with advocates across the country they co-founded BurnPits360.

Let’s Honor. Let’s Inspire. Let’s Lead.

Together, let us illuminate the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes—Texas style. We invite you to join the Gala of Valor in defending their health, dignity, and legacy.

Exclusive Sneak Peak: FIREWATCH - A Burn Pit Story

At the Gala of Valor, we invite you to experience an exclusive 20-minute preview of FIREWATCH - a documentary that tells the untold story of how a movement began in a small town and echoed all the way to the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

FIREWATCH began at a kitchen table in Robstown, Texas, where Captain Le Roy Torres and his wife Rosie turned anguish into action after Le Roy returned from war with invisible wounds caused by toxic exposure. What startes as a cry for help became a nationwide fight for justice, untiting military families, Gold Star widows, and even the 9/11 World Trade Center firefighters who stood with us, shoulder to shoulder.

The film captures the raw emotion of five sleepless nights spent on the steps of the Capitol, standing watch not for ourselves, but for every veteran who could no longer breathe, speak, or fight.

This powerful preview honors the resilience of those who refused to give up until the promise of the PACT ACT was fulfilled, and reminds us why we must continue to protect it.

Directed by Joel M. Gonzalez, acclaimed for co-producing The Long Game, FIREWATCH  weaves together raw emotion, advocacy, and sacrifice into a powerful testament of courage. It captures a movement born out of pain, propelled by purpose, and destined to leave a legacy.

This exclusive preview is not just a moment, it is a call to action. Because behind every policy is a person. And behind every law, a family that refused to give up.
