Laureates are recognized for a lifetime of achievement, and business awards are presented to distinguish individuals for the prior year's accomplishments. Award categories include: Friend of Business (The Richard E. Baudouin, Jr. Award), Small Business of the Year, and Large Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, and Rising Young Business Person of the Year.
