Fostering 5K

The Fostering 5K is more than a race—it's an opportunity to bring our community together around one shared mission: ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience the love, safety, and stability of a family.

Today, more than 1,400 children in East Texas are in foster care, and many are waiting for loving foster families to open their homes. Others arehoping for the day they find a permanent, forever family through adoption. These children are our neighbors, and together, we can help bring hope in their story.

Funds raised through the Fostering 5K directly support the mission of The Fostering Collective as we recruit and shepherd Christ-centered foster and adoptive families, advocate for children in need of permanent homes through Heart Gallery East Texas, and provide ongoing support, resources, training, and encouragement to foster, adoptive, and kinship families across East Texas.

We hope our community will join us—not only to run or walk, but to stand with us in raising awareness for the urgent needs that exist right here in our own backyard.
