January 15 Session: Starting Again

Journaling & Self-Expression for Borderline Personality Disorder Recovery -Featuring Clyde Clark, Peer Faciliator
Did you know that journaling can be an activity that promotes wellness, self-expression and healing for people with BPD?
Did you ever want to try journaling in a safe, non-judgmental environment, in the company of others who understand the BPD experience?
Join Clyde Clark, one of Emotions Matter's peer facilitators for this drop-in journaling workshop. Clyde has developed a 90-minute workshop that guides participants through journaling prompts and the expressive writing experience. These workshops occur every other month and are open to anyone to register.
Clyde is an avid journaler who has used writing as a tool for building motivation, purpose, wellness and community on his healing journey. He believes self-expression and introspection grounded in presence through the journaling process has been instrumental to his recovery. He will share his lived experiences, while sharing exercises to introduce journaling to the community.
Clyde will help you get started with some writing prompts and share his own journey with BPD. There will be an option to share journaling writing excerpts throughout the workshop, and to talk about writing for recovery. No experience necessary! Bring a pencil and journal and get started!
Discussion will focus on support with an emphasis on sharing lived experiences in a judgement free, compassionate environment.
Space is limited to 20 participants. Registration required. The registration fee for each session of this 90-Minute Journaling Workshop will be $20.00. Fees from our featured programs are used to fund our free BPD Peer Online Support Groups.
Those who register will be emailed the Zoom meeting link with instructions on the registration receipt and will receive a reminder email prior to the meeting.
This discussion does not take the place of medical advice or treatment. There will be resources available for those seeking more information about BPD, as well as support.
