About the series ArtEd Lab: Experiments in Teaching Contemporary Art

Explore fresh approaches to teaching contemporary art in this interactive workshop series for classroom and community educators. Each session includes free museum admission, a private tour, and a hands-on artmaking activity to spark classroom ideas. Connect with fellow educators over complimentary pizza and wine, share ideas, and build your creative confidence in a welcoming, peer-to-peer environment. Whether you're just starting out or looking to recharge your practice, these workshops offer inspiration and community. The program is offered for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines, pre-service education majors, college and graduate students pursuing degrees in art studio or museum studies, teaching artists, as well as community and museum educators and volunteers.
