About This Event
Join us for an Educator Workshop focusing on the exhibition, Gee Horton: Chapter 4, In Another Lifetime. Horton's work focuses on Black masculinity, generational memory, and childhood, exploring themes of safety, vulnerability, and the fragile boundary between freedom and protection. Gee Horton and Cereal Box Studio have partnered on a book that encapsulates the exhibition and follows the struggles of Freeman Little, a 37-year-old Black man living with Guent Bu Wa, a rare hereditary sleep disorder that causes vivid, prophetic dreams.
Enjoy an evening with light refreshments, educational resources, and an art-making activity led by Julia Warner and Eric Blyth of Cereal Box Studio. Space is limited, and reservations are required. To learn more about the Cereal Box Studio, visit their website.
Free for CAC members, $5 for students, and $10 for non-members.
