Salut! will take place in the heart of Ottawa's Tulip Festival, at Lago Restaurant, Dow's Lake Pavilion. There's no better place to be inspired by the dreams that have been launched by our Dream Launcher giving community.

Returning Head Sommelier, James Bertrand

Having served as President of the esteemed National Capital Sommelier Guild, James' understanding of wines transcends mere knowledge; it's a reflection of his deep-rooted connection with the art and science of winemaking. With James at the helm, you're guaranteed an enriching and unforgettable exploration of all things wine! James is not new to Salut!, as he has been sharing his expertise as a member of the sommelier team for fifteen years. 

James' dedicated team of sommeliers will be on hand throughout the evening, eager to impart their expertise and deepen your appreciation for the diverse array of wines presented. Together, they promise to elevate your wine and food experience to new heights, ensuring an evening filled with delight and discovery.

Your Emcee for the evening will be Ottawa's very own Sam Laprade, radio and TV veteran, and host of An Hour to Give aired weekly on Rogers TV and Country 101.1 FM.

Sam will help to highlight one of our many initiatives, the Dare to Dream Bursary, that helps former youth in foster care to achieve their goal of attending post-secondary school. You will hear directly from a bursary recipient on how this support has impacted their life and helped them reach their goal of having a meaningful career and future.

Proceeds from this event will go to supporting children and youth at the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.
