Join community colleges, state leaders, researchers, and industry partners for a day-long forum on clean energy, climate, and resiliency in California. In the morning, we will have a series of panel discussions featuring leaders from across the state including Dr. Sonya Christian, the Chancellor of the CA Community Colleges, who will discuss her vision for climate action and sustainability at community colleges.  The afternoon will feature options for site visits throughout Kern County that will showcase technology innovations, industry partnerships, and workforce development approaches. The day will wrap up back on Bakersfield College campus, where we will officially launch the new CREL Center of Excellence on Smart Buildings.

Choose one of the several options to explore energy and sustainability innovations happening in Kern County

Connect & Collaborate

If you are in town on the evening of November 3rd, please join us the night before the Forum at the historic Padre Hotel, in downtown Bakersfield, for the CREL Networking Social, sponsored by our local partner, Project Development Solutions, on November 3rd at 6:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.

To keep the conversations going and connect with your colleagues and friends after the Forum, there will be a fun no-host dinner in downtown Bakersfield in the early evening of November 4th. Details to come on the location.
