Elementary Band

About This Event

Beginning Band is intended for students with little to no background in instrumental music. We only ask for enthusiastic, involved students with a growth mindset and a love of music.

Cadet Band is our second-year ensemble, building on Beginning Band with a greater focus on performance and preparation for the rigor of middle school band and beyond. Enrollment is based on an audition or successful completion of Beginning Band, along with demonstrated skills in reading, tone, rhythm, posture, articulation, work ethic, and behavior.

Please note: These programs are separate from after-school enrichment programs at school sites and require a full-year commitment.

Instrument Rentals are available in limited supply. The Band Program has bell kits (percussion), trombones, trumpets, clarinets, and a small number of flutes available for loan. An additional $75 NON-REFUNDABLE DONATION is requested if you are chosen to borrow an instrument from the district

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Registration is a simple 3 step process that can be quickly done on your phone.

1. Register online

  • Use the button above to begin registration and submit basic information.

2. Donate - please contribute if you are able.

  • Program Support: The suggested amount is $200 per student, per program, but any amount is appreciated.
  • Instrument Rental: The suggested amount is $75 per student using a district-owned instrument, but any support is appreciated. 

3. Complete required waivers and forms

  • Use the link provided later to fill out the necessary forms.

Additional information - Please attend the informational meeting. Expect to receive lesson and concert schedules directly from your student's Band Teacher.  

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Cambrian's music programs are funded entirely through community donations. Your donation helps make our sports programs available to every student. Each year, we need to raise over $50,000 to fund our Elementary Band programs.

Cambrian Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that fundraises to support Cambrian School District students and schools. All donations are non-refundable.
