Welcome to Camp Imua 2025!
This June, we’re thrilled to celebrate the 49th annual Camp Imua, a beloved tradition for children with special needs who call Maui County home. We will again be at the beautiful Ke‘anae Uka, so get ready for a week of non-stop fun, connection, and inclusion! Our amazing youth volunteers provide one-on-one care around the clock, creating a safe and joyful atmosphere with activities tailored to all personalities and skill levels.
High school and college students ages 16-21, are you ready to make lasting memories while also helping a child make new friends and try awesome new activities? Then it's time to sign up to be a Camp Imua counselor!

Here’s how it works: Camp Imua counselor positions are open to high school and college aged students 16-21 years old. Please fill out your information on the next few page to sign up. This is the first step in the application process. An email will be sent to the address provided to confirm that this form and your payment have been submitted. All applicants 18 or older will be required to fill out additional forms for background check purposes. Application acceptance is not guaranteed by completion. Following review, applicants will be informed of their acceptance. If upon review there is a reason to discard an application, the individual will be notified.
Counselor Training Day: Lasly, we will be holding a mandatory training seminar for all counselors a week before camp starts. On Saturday, May 31st, 2025 we will all be meeting at the Will Smith Imua Discovery Garden for a full day of training so that everyone gets to know each other. We will give you your team and camper assignments on this day and also give you some in depth training and information you will need before coming to camp. Lunch will be provided and we look forward to meeting everybody soon.
