About This Event

Calling All Camp Imua Alumni!

Can you believe it? Camp Imua turns 50 years old in 2026! Since 1976, Camp Imua has been more than just a week of camp—it’s been a tradition of laughter, adventure, and lifelong friendships. Over the decades, 2,500 amazing kids and youth with special needs have experienced the magic of camp at no cost, supported by more than 4,000 high school and college counselors who gave their time, heart, and energy. Parents and caregivers have found comfort and joy in knowing their keiki were safe, celebrated, and having the time of their lives.

Now, as we prepare to celebrate this incredible milestone, we want YOU—our campers, counselors, parents, partners, and sponsors—to help us tell the story of Camp Imua. We’re creating a 50th Anniversary Camp Imua Feature Film, and we need your voices, your memories, and your smiles to bring it to life.

Were you a camper splashing in the pool? A counselor staying up late by the campfire? A parent feeling that sigh of relief? Or a community partner helping make the magic possible? Every story is a piece of the Imua ‘ohana, and every voice matters.

This is your chance to share your favorite memories, funny moments, and the ways Camp Imua has shaped your life. Together, we’ll honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the next 50 years of camp magic. Filming is set to begin in early January, so let us know if you are interested in sharing your Camp Imua stories.

This feature film will hit the big screen Memorial Day Weekend – May 2026 for its official premiere!

Even if you're camera-shy and don’t want to be in the spotlight, we’d still love to keep you in the loop. Just click on the get started button and select the "Keep Me Updated" option and sign up — you won’t miss a single behind-the-scenes scoop, sneak peek, or premiere party detail!

Be part of the story. Be part of the film. Be part of Camp Imua history.

Sign up today to join the 50th Anniversary film project—because Camp Imua wouldn’t be what it is without YOU.
