A current resume.
A personal statement (1 – 2 pages) expressing your interest in the program.
Three letters of reference from people familiar with the applicant’s clinical work, based on the enclosed Letter of Reference forms, which are to be sent to each reference. LP applicants should send letters of reference from professional/collegial sources that would best represent their aptitude for psychoanalytic training.
Your official graduate-school transcript.
A form filled out by your current therapist, indicating her/his/their credentials. Your therapist must be approved by the Training Committee and must be a graduate of a recognized training program in psychoanalysis, and have been graduated 5 or more years ago.
Note: Applicants are interviewed by two Training Committee members. On occasion, a third interview is required.
Once we have your completed application and at least two of your references, we can schedule your interviews. Please complete and return your application as soon as possible.
