The day will include a five-hour workshop for family and professional care partners where Teepa and Melanie will focus on the progression of dementia using the GEMS states, including practical tips and skills caregivers can use for each state. They will be helping everyone improve their 'helping skills' and recognize who really needs to change and how to make those changes.

The event will not be recorded.
Scholarships and respite reimbursement are available on a limited basis for family care partners who are facing hardships or financial burdens. Cancellation & Refund Policies for DANC conferences
DANC hopes that everyone will be able to attend our conferences, however, we understand extenuating circumstances may occur. Our refund and cancelation policies are as follows:
Conference registration canceled via email or phone call up to 30 days prior to the event will be refunded.
Those canceling within 30 days of the event will not receive a refund, but fees may be transferred to another individual.
Those canceling within 30 days of the event will not receive a refund however, depending on scheduling, registration may be transferred to another event.
If DANC cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, all efforts will be made to transfer your registration to another event or refund the registration cost.
