As you may know, children and youth in foster care face many challenges that stem from experiencing abuse and neglect, as well as from being uprooted from family, school, and friends. When children face these significant changes, they often experience setbacks in development, education, family relationships,mental and physical health. As statistics show, their futures are at risk. We are providing an unpaid person, assigned to ensure the children are safe, supported and have everything they need for healthy growth and development. We are proud to announce CASA of Kings County 13th annual 2025 Light of Hope Fundraiser so we can continue to recruit, train and support Court Appointed Special Advocates.
