The Gloucester Rotary will host a Casino Night Fundraiser, an evening of fun and philanthropy in support of the Gloucester Rotary’s mission to serve our community and our world on Friday, May 29, 2026, 6-10pm, at Cruiseport Gloucester (6 Rowe Square, Gloucester). This event will be a spirited night of gaming, prizes, and celebration—all to raise critical funds for programs that make a real difference.
Since 1923, the Gloucester Rotary has brought together community leaders to serve Gloucester and the world beyond. In 2005, we celebrated the Rotary International Centennial Anniversary by rebuilding the children’s playground at Stage Fort Park and facilitated over $300,000 in improvements at that time. Since 2005, Rotarians have volunteered their time to help the City maintain the playground. In 2023, in honor of our 100th Anniversary, the Gloucester Rotary refurbished some of the existing equipment and added new playground equipment. The estimated cost of the 2023 renovation is well over $200,000.
In addition to the Stage Fort Park Playground project, the Gloucester Rotary provides between $5,000 and $7,500 in scholarships to students graduating from Gloucester High School each year; provides financial support to the Boneza region in Rwanda—helping to build a high school and a medical clinic and helping purchase electrical generators for both facilities. These are just two projects of many. The Gloucester Rotary has recorded donations in excess of $2-million in the past 20 years.
