Thanks for your interest in joining our Catch the Stars Foundation JR VOLUNTEER TEAM! All JR VOLS must be ages 15-18 years old!
Catch the Stars is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2004 by WNBA All-Star and Three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Tamika Catchings. The mission of the foundation is to empower youth to achieve their dreams by providing goal-setting programs that promote literacy, fitness and mentoring. Over the past 11 years, Catch the Stars has impacted over 6,000 young lives through our basketball camps, fitness clinics, mentoring programs, reading corners, Back to School Celebrations and annual Scholarship programs. All of this could not be made possible without the help of our Catch the Stars Volunteer team.
Joining Our Vol Team:
In addition to completing our Online Volunteer Application, we require all JR Volunteers to provide a signed Parental Consent Waiver prior to participation. Waivers will be emailed to the address provided in your application within 72 hours.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT WE HAVE BOTH ITEMS PRIOR TO YOUR PARTICIPATION WITH THE FOUNDATION!
*Please note that any volunteer over the age of 19 is no longer considered a JR VOLUNTEER and must complete our Catch the Stars Volunteer Application & complete a level 3 background check!
