About This Event
Corpus Christi Catholic Church will have a Family based Catechesis in 2021. Family Catechesis is a program which promotes parents as the primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith. Within this program, faith instruction is done every week; one week at the Church instructed by the teachers and the other weeks at home by the parents. The curriculums used are bilingual and are designed to transmit a solid and deeper understanding of our Catholic faith to the entire family. Activities involving games, quizzes, and stories are provided to assist parents in growing in their Catholic faith with their children. Parents and Children are expected to attend the scheduled Sunday classes every month.
Classes will start in September 2021!
In the Summer more information and calendars will be sent out through Email or Text.
Preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is a total of two years. Students will receive these Sacraments upon the successful completion of two years of Religious Education. (Registration for classes must be completed each year)
Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is also a total of two years. Students will receive this Sacrament upon the successful completion of two years of Religious Education for Confirmation Prep. (Registration for classes must be completed each year)
To Complete your registration: A Copy of the Baptism certificate is required for all 1st year Communion students and a copy of the Baptism and First Communion certificates are required for all 1st year Confirmation students. These certificate copies can be sent to dre@corpusc.com or dropped off at the Church Office open Monday-Wednesday 10am-2pm.
