Date & Time
9:00am CDT - 11:30am CDT
About This Event
Hosted by the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program in partnership with 1PointFive and the Corpus Christi Hooks, this cleanup is a great way to spend the morning on the water while helping keep the spoils and surrounding tidal flats clean and healthy for wildlife on Padre Island.
Bring your own kayak or stand up paddleboard (SUP), reserve one of our free kayaks, or join us as a shoreline volunteer to help remove litter from the tidal flats. Whether you’re an experienced paddler or new to kayaking, there’s a way for everyone to get involved! The cleanup area is a no-wake zone, making it a great place for those who are newer to paddling. There will not be a designated beginner group or guide, so please paddle within your own comfort level and experience.
