Helping Churches Thrive: Creative Workshop Retreat November 2024

Church in today’s world is complex and challenging. But what if churches could embrace their potential to truly THRIVE instead of accepting the pressure to simply survive?

CBFNC’s Helping Churches Thrive (HCT) program is cultivating opportunities to foster congregational vitality through a series of Creative Workshops Retreats. The interactive retreats are designed to engage congregational leaders and clergy from across our fellowship as they explore new, practical and innovative ways to flourish in ministry.

This is not another program that will leave you with lingering questions. It is a shared learning experience with other CBFNC churches that will empower you to identify, celebrate and grow the characteristics of thriving congregations for your church, all under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This first Creative Workshop Retreat takes place November 14-15 at the Catholic Conference Center in Hickory. The design of the 24-hour retreat will quickly bring into focus the urgency and profound opportunity in today’s church context. The retreat kicks off at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 14 and wraps up by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15. 

The cost is $50 for double occupancy rooms and $100 for single occupancy rooms, with dinner, breakfast and lunch provided.  

Space is limited to 40 participants.
