Mission Rift: Leading Through Church Conflict
Helping Pastors Thrive, a ministry of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, invites pastors and staff ministers to a workshop retreat on leading congregations through conflict. The retreat will be led by David E. Woolverton, a United Methodist pastor who serves churches facing turnaround ministry situations. David holds a doctorate in conflict leadership and has intensive clinical training in hospital chaplaincy. He is affiliate professor of Leadership Studies at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, and the author of the book, "Mission Rift: Leading Through Church Conflict" (Fortress Press, 2021).
Programming begins with dinner on Sunday, November 15 and will end following lunch at 12:30 on Tuesday, November 17. Cost is $100 per person or $150 per couple. Additional information, including the retreat schedule and directions to St. Francis Springs Prayer Center in Stoneville, NC, will be sent following registration.
