About This Event
Our deepest calling is to grow into our own authentic self-hood, whether or not it conforms to some image of who we ought to be. As we do so, we will not only find the joy that every human being seeks--we will also find our path of authentic service in the world.
- Parker J. Palmer
Helping Pastors Thrive, a ministry of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, invites ministers to gather for a time of spiritual discovery on January 21-23, 2024 at St. Francis Springs Prayer Center in Stoneville, NC.
Tending to souls is at the center of ministry. Yet, in recent years, the challenges faced by pastors in caring for and nurturing the spiritual lives of others has been overwhelmingly difficult and challenging. Many ministers find themselves spiritually depleted and exhausted, wondering about their ability to live into their vocation in such turbulent times.
Join other ministers in a time of sharing and rediscovering spiritual voices essential to ministers as followers of Jesus.
Check in will be from 3pm to 5:30pm on Sunday, January 21st. DInner will be served at 6pm. The retreat will end following lunch at noon on Tuesday, January 23rd.
Additional information on schedule, direction to St. Francis Springs, and opportunities during the retreat will be sent following registration.
