About This Event

Meeting Location: We will meet to carpool from Wenatchee at the Old Station Park and Ride at 6:30am. We will drive to Lake Wenatchee State Park, south shore, and arrive at 7:30am. A discover pass is required to park here.

Event Details:

  • Expect to walk about 2 miles on former roads and across wet fields in western red cedar and cottonwood riparian forest.

  • We will have a picnic for an early lunch. Please bring your own lunch.

  • Please bring waterproof shoes and layers of clothes for the changing weather.

  • Loaner binoculars available upon request

  • Parking is very limited, so we will encourage people to carpool to minimize vehicle use.

Limited space available. Registration is required.
