Oct. 20: Volunteer at Sage Hills - Restore Decommissioned Trail

We need your help to restore a decommissioned trail  We will meet at Sage Hills 5th St parking lot and will shuttle volunteers to Day Drive Trailhead. We will hike North to the restoration area where we will seed the decommissioned trail and the sides of the rerouted trail.

Volunteer Work Party @ Sage Hills

What: We will seed the decommissioned trail and the sides of the rerouted trail. We will hike a total of about 1.5 miles.

Where: There is limited parking at Day Drive Trailhead. We will meet at Sage Hills 5th St parking lot and shuttle in CDLT vehicles to the trailhead.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 20th from 9:00 - 12:00

Please bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and hiking/work shoes.

We will provide gloves and tools, as well as drinks and snacks. 

Additional Info: There are no bathroom facilities at the trailhead. We will hike 0.75 miles along Main Sage Hills Trail to the rerouted trail. The decommissioned trail ground will be uneven and steep. The work will be mildly strenuous with a moderately strenuous hike.
