Hands-On Class: Ukrainian Baking with Anna Voloshyna

Join culinary storyteller and cookbook author Anna Voloshyna to learn the nuances of making a multi-layered Ukrainian Honey Cake. She’ll guide you step-by-step through crafting tender layers of honey biscuit and finishing them with a rich frosting made with sour cream. Along the way, Anna will share her passion for Ukrainian and Eastern European flavors, showing how timeless recipes can be reimagined with contemporary techniques. 

What You’ll Make & Take Home:

• Each guest will create and take home a finished honey cake.

About the instructor: Anna Voloshyna is author of "Budmo! Recipes from a Ukrainian Kitchen," which celebrates classic recipes from her homeland refreshed for today's home cooks. She teaches classes around the Bay Area.
