About This Event

Roberth Sundell, chef/owner of Stockhome restaurant in Petaluma, will present an evening of classic Scandinavian recipes prepared with California style. Each one will be demonstrated live by our chef and served at your table.

The restaurant that Chef Roberth opened in 2018 with his wife, Andrea, serves rotating specials that include Swedish favorites and a scattering of the Turkish street food popular in Sweden. Stockhome has received a Michelin Bib Gourmand award. His menu for our guests:

– Toast Skagen – 1968 dish from Tore Wretman
Toasted Brioche with Shrimp, Dill, Lemon, Mayonnaise & Caviar

– Local Cod ala Oscar – 1898 dish from Opera Källaren
Fresh Cod with Asparagus, Crab Meat & Choron Sauce

– Baked Nordic Cheesecake – 15th century
Cheesecake with Cloudberry & Vanilla Whipped Cream

In Petaluma, the chef built on the success of Pläj, his upscale San Francisco establishment that closed after 10 award-winning years. During that time, Zagat named Chef Roberth as one of “10 Under-the-Radar Chefs to Know in the Bay Area.”

Each reservation includes two glasses of wine and other beverage. All proceeds support shelter, housing and training programs at Homeward Bound of Marin.

*Please note we require at least 5 days' notice of a cancellation to offer a full refund or credit value.

**We strive to accommodate our guests’ dietary needs while upholding the integrity of our guest chef’s menu. While we are unable to modify the chef’s menu, we are pleased to offer an alternative menu aligned with the evening’s theme and designed to meet gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan preferences. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone.
