About This Event

Learn about artisan cheese and recipes to match the seasons from Tamara Hicks, co-owner of Tomales Farmstead Creamery and co-author of the 2025 book, "Feasts on the Farm." Her menu:

  • Charred Watermelon Salad with Basil and Koto'la
  • Teleeka and Summer Squash Lasagna
  • Liwa Basque Cheesecake with Honeyed Nectarines and Nasturtiums

Tamara and her husband, David Jablons, have shepherded Toluma Farms since 2003, making cheese and offering educational tours of farm life with their herds of sheep and goats.

The 2025 cookbook features 60 recipes for adaptable dishes like Farmers Panzanella Salad, plus tips on composing the perfect summer cheese board or a winter platter for enjoying Dungeness crab.

Come taste cooking that highlights seasonal produce and local cheese while we hear from an active leader in the West Marin farming community.

Your reservation includes dinner and two glasses of wine, if desired, to accompany your meal.

Reservations close July 15, 2026.

*Please note we require at least 5 days’ notice of a cancellation to offer a full refund or credit value.

**We are happy to offer an alternative menu for guests with dietary restrictions. This carefully crafted menu will complement the theme of the evening with three courses that are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional modifications and appreciate your understanding.
