Jessica Joiner-Escott was a beloved member of the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge. Recognized as a wonderful artists who used pottery as her medium, Jess worked as a teacher and ceramicist, shared her green thumb as a gardening teacher at our preschool, and was an essential member of our office staff. Her untimely passing on April 2, 2022 at the age of 34 was met with great sadness tempered by profound gratitude for a life well lived. Her kindness, compassion, generosity, and commitment to her family, her community, and her friends will never be forgotten. We wish to honor Jessica's life with a memorial bench created with ceramic pieces made by those who loved her. Please contribute to the fund which will cover all materials, firing, glazing, installation grouting and sealing of the artwork covering the bench. We look forward to having the Jess Joiner-Escott Memorial Bench as a way to remember the legacy of a compassionate and caring individual who lived life to the fullest.
