Join Cate Hickey, a licensed mental health counselor and specialist in Queer identity, eating disorders, and relational therapy, for a transformative two-part workshop designed to enhance your practice through gender-informed and affirming care. This workshop explores the nuances of working with queer and trans people seeking eating disorder treatment so that clinicians can provide informed and unbiased care.
This workshop is ideal for clinicians, dietitians, therapists, and other professionals working with eating disorder populations, particularly those looking to expand their understanding of the nuances when working with queer and trans people seeking eating disorder treatment.
About the Presenter
Cate Hickey, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor in private practice based in NYC. They specialize in Queer identity, eating disorders, and relational therapy. Cate is a graduate of the two-year CSAB program and integrates expertise in eating disorder treatment, Queer theory, and Queer culture to foster body acceptance and promote healing with their clients. They are dedicated to working with trans clients through an affirming lens of eating disorder awareness and empowering care.
