Stone & Stem: Botanical Imprints with Jeff Jackson

About This Event

Stone & Stem: Botanical Imprints with Jeff Jackson

Tues, June 16 AND Wed, June 17

You must attend both days to complete your project

Bring the beauty of the garden into your home in a way that lasts forever. Join Jeff Jackson, also known as The Hell Hole Naturalist, for a special two-day hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own cast-stone botanical garden decoration inspired by the textures and forms found in nature.

Using foliage and natural materials, Jeff will guide participants through the process of creating unique cast-stone pieces perfect for the garden or home. Along the way, you’ll learn about the materials, techniques, tools, and artistry behind this timeless craft — all through the lens of Jeff’s 30+ years of experience as a designer, naturalist, and creative educator.

Jeff’s work has been featured in Southern Living, The New York Times, PBS, and Spoleto. Raised between Lake Moultrie and the Francis Marion National Forest, his creations reflect a true Lowcountry sense of place and appreciation for the natural world.

Whether you’re a longtime gardener, creative spirit, or simply looking to try something new, this workshop offers a memorable opportunity to learn from a master craftsman while creating a one-of-a-kind piece to take home and enjoy.

Please note: you’ll need to attend both sessions to complete your project and take home your finished piece.

All you need to bring are gloves and a willingness to learn—everyone will create a personal piece to take home and enjoy!

Space is limited — reserve your spot early!

CHS Member price: $120 //Non-members: $130
