On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Meals on Wheels Western Michigan will have the distinct pleasure of honoring community leader and advocate, Shawn Kohlhaas, for his extraordinary contributions to the Grand Rapids community and his impact on food and hospitality in West Michigan.   

Shawn’s passion to better our community never quits, and we are delighted to honor him during our 10^th Annual Chef’s Specialty event held at The Goei Center. The event will feature drinks, dinner, and networking, while we honor Shawn and the work of Meals on Wheels Western Michigan. You can also look forward to hearing meaningful words from clients and volunteers and engaging with local chefs in a delicious recipe competition!
