Location: The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) Central West Center (Google Map) has a large, adjacent free parking lot. It is also a 10 minute walk/roll from the Blue Line / Illinois Medical District Station or the Pink Line / Polk Station.
Accessibility: The building and dancefloor are fully wheelchair accessible. ASL Interpretation, Audio Description, and C.A.R.T. will be provided.
To be eligible for participation in the July 2024 DanceChance at Sherman Park, artists MUST BE PRESENT at the May 20th event to put their names in the hat for random draw. Participating artists each receive $4,500in addition to dialogue and video documentation of their sharing.
