The flock needs a name!
The chickens have arrived!
We have officially welcomed a new flock to the farm, and now we need your help naming the flock as a whole. Think one collective name for the entire group, not individual chickens. Something like Bird Unit 1, Cluck Squad 3000, or The Feathered Friends Who Lay Eggs.
Submissions open on May 19th and close on May 26th at midnight.
Each name submission is $10 and $45 for 5!. Submit as many as you like! Get the kids involved, brainstorm with friends, and send us your funniest, cleverest, or most creative ideas.
After submissions close, the Trellis for Tomorrow team will select the top 10 names. Community voting will officially begin on May 28th through our website and social media channels, and everyone is welcome to participate.
The winning flock name will be announced on Friday, June 5th. The chosen name will be displayed on a sign outside the coop along with the name of the person who submitted it.
This is just the beginning. There are exciting changes underway at Trellis for Tomorrow, and we are using this moment to build momentum, bring more people into the work, and celebrate what is growing.
