Get to know Children's Day Preschool and Family Center (CDP), where we’ve been nurturing young minds and supporting families in Passaic for over 130 years. Our preschool program serves children in our urban community aged 2.5 to 5, focusing on holistic development through education, health, and family support.

At CDP, we go beyond traditional education. With the HighScope curriculum, we focus on the whole child—addressing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our trauma-informed approach, combined with comprehensive health and therapeutic services, ensures every child and family receives the support they need to thrive.

Many of our young students begin their CDP journey with a wide range of challenges including learning, speech, social-emotional, trauma-induced, and more. They need a range of services that their hard-working but financially limited families can't afford without help.
