Welcome to the 2025-2026 CHIME Fund Drive! Every year, we invite CHIME families to contribute to the CHIME Fund, our annual giving program. The CHIME Fund is the best way to support your child’s education and enables CHIME Institute to provide a high-quality inclusive education experience to all the children we serve.
This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 35 years of CHIME Institute!
We are asking for 100% participation from our families - no matter the size of the gift!
As a Nonpublic Agency for the Preschool, and an Early Intervention program for our Infants and Toddler program, we do not receive funding the same way as other schools. Our preschool receives reimbursements from LAUSD, and our Infant and Toddler program is funded by the Regional Center—but only for the days children are present, whether absences are due to illness or medical appointments. Our staff works diligently to bridge this gap through grant funding and through donations from our CHIME community. This is where the CHIME Fund and your support comes in.

- Maintaining low student-to-adult ratios
- Staffing highly trained teachers and therapists
- Offsetting operational costs to help us provide competitive salaries for our paraprofessionals.
“How much should I give?” That’s a common question and the answer is a personal one. We understand that each family’s financial situation is unique. Think about what fits comfortably into your household budget and consider setting up a monthly recurring gift, which spreads your contribution across the year. If possible, we suggest a contribution of $125 monthly or $1,250 annually per student. Every dollar makes a difference—whether it’s $20 a month, $125 a month, or $500 a month. Our goal is 100% families investing in our children’s education, no matter the amount.
