Summer Appreciation Event 2026: Rooted In Community

Together, let's thank and celebrate our Summer Garden Volunteers and CitySprouts Alumni at the William E. Russell Elementary School Garden!

Join us on Thursday, July 23rd from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM! We will be hosting activities, starting with Garden Office Hour Skills with Maddie and Stella, followed by a Scavenger Hunt with the opportunity to win fun prizes! This will be the perfect opportunity to learn more about gardening, how to connect with our community, and CitySprouts as a whole. Food and refreshments will be provided. 

Directions: The garden is located behind the William E. Russell Elementary School on Roseclair Street. There is free parking available in the school lot. It is accessible by T, just a 10-minute walk from the JFK/UMass stop on the Red Line.

Facilities: There are no restrooms on site, but there are gas stations and Dunkin right around the corner for you to use.
