New to clay? This four-week introductory course is the perfect place to start. Learn the fundamentals of working with clay, including studio safety; clay bodies and behavior; stages of clay; firing; proper cleanup and studio practices; and basic handbuilding techniques.
Through hands-on projects using pinch, coil, and slab methods, you'll build confidence, explore how ideas move from sketch to finished form, and gain a solid foundation for working with clay.
No experience necessary.
10lbs of clay and firing included.
Additional clay may be purchased for $1.75/lb.
